CENTRE D'INTERPRÉTATION DU CHASSÉEN
Center d'interprétation du Chasséen, a mini-museum where you can learn all about this period, thanks to some 50 objects, copies, etc.
A Neolithic archaeological culture, the Chasséen owes its name to the commune of Chassey-le-Camp. It was here, on a rocky spur, that major remains (dating from 4500 BC to 476 AD) were discovered. Although little remains of the site, it's still a great place for a stroll. Right next door, in the town hall, the Centre d'interprétation du Chasséen, a mini-museum, provides a comprehensive understanding of this period, thanks to some fifty objects and copies, and explanatory panels.
