Prehistoric camp with explanatory panels to discover flint objects and typical Chassean ceramics.
Discovered in 1865, the site extends over a plateau with the appearance of a barred spur. On the site of a fortified village from the 4th millennium BC, the site gave its name to the Neolithic civilization of the Chassean. Occupied until the early Iron Age, the site was abandoned during the Middle Ages. Excavations have brought to light flint objects and ceramics typical of the Chassean period. Explanatory panels dot the site. Visit to be completed by the Interpretation Centre.
