THE SMALL MUSEUM OF CHAILLOUX
It is the history of agriculture of yesteryear that is gathered in this museum opened in 2002 in a hangar of 385 m2. The museum contains a large number of tools and machines used by the elderly who cultivated land, practised breeding. The tools look sometimes like torture instruments for they were heavy and imposing, but they especially allow you to really understand the hardness of trad and know-how of the grandparents. There are pitchforks, carts, digging machines, wood chisels, cereal threshers and all sorts of agricultural tools of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. The place gathers nearly 200 items. A beautiful collection to be discovered.
