RENÉ PIERRE BILLARDS
History: In 1952 René Pierre created his company in Ranchot, a village located in the Jura. Installed in a garage, he made baby-fairs, sold in the north of France. The municipality then offers an old sabotage where it begins its trade by investing in a wood machine, to make baby-fairs and golf billiards. In 1953, he acquired a land where he built a small factory of 180 m ², which he will continue to expand over the years with growing demand. The range of baby-foots, billiards and jukeboxes, renowned for its solidity and great pleasure, is sold to professionals who use these new games in all the coffees of France. The Ranchot factory is getting too small. A new site of 8,000 m ² is invested in Chalons-sur-Saône, closer to the main axes. The Jurassian site of Ranchot is therefore devoted to the storage and cutting of wood. The company is now leader in its field. At the same time, it is a heir to the tradition of the master billiards and the great designers of furniture, the brand René Pierre occupies a place apart from the universe of billiards. For over 62 years, René Pierre and his descendants have been proud to create French and American billiards that reconcile gaming quality and decorative requirements.
