Built in 1620 by Charles de Blanchefort-Créquy, this château is located 2.5 km north of La Clayette.

Château de Drée is one of the jewels of the Brionnais region, built in the mid-17th century for François de Bonne de Créquy, Duc de Lesdiguières. Inside, you'll discover the king's bedroom, the Rocaille salon and the chapel. Some 15 rooms have been fitted out with18th-century furniture and objets d'art. The château is surrounded by a magnificent 10-hectare park, with outstanding formal gardens that have been awarded the "Remarkable Garden" label. Events take place throughout the year, such as the Nocturnes au Château on July 20 and August 10, 2024.

Lieu à découvrir aussi bien intérieur qu'extérieur. Seul bémol, le guide qui était très directif et désagréable. Dommage. Mais le Lieu mérite le détour. Visite du patrimoine.
