If you want to discover the Genesee Country Village and Museum, this is the perfect place to spend the night. This former mill, converted into an inn, has ten warm rooms decorated with antique furniture and objects. Every morning, breakfast is served and everything is homemade, from bread to granola and scones. Nature is omnipresent, you can stroll around the large estate behind the hotel and see a pond, waterfalls, gardens, etc. Perfect to recharge your batteries.

A truly wonderful hospitality experience awaits you at the Genesee Country Inn Bed and Breakfast. We had the pleasure of staying there overnight on the New Years weekend. The suite we chose had a huge king bed and, in a lower room featuring windows that overlooked the spacious back yard and pond, a comfortable sofa and ottoman extra bed. The room featured eclectic and interesting decor, plus a selection of books. The common gathering room at the inn has an extensive collection of DVDs, and the breakfast room offered complimentary coffee/tea. The other admirable parts of the stay, aside from the spotlessly clean and well-appointed accommodations, included the wonderful breakfast fare, and the true hospitality extended to us by the owners. What a great experience start to finish. Recommended!

We have been going here for many years to get out town and relax and see different scenery. The rooms are very clean and quiet. Debra and her husband are super nice and she makes some of the best homemade breakfasts. I would recommend this place if you want a clean quiet place to unwind.

My husband and I stayed for a single night, but I wish we’d stayed longer. Debbie greeted us at the door and guided us through the common areas and then on to our rooms. I’ve never experienced this level of hospitality, thoughtfulness and service that she provided us. She made homemade cookies upon our arrival, she specifically chose a room for us that had a bathtub because she knew we were bringing along our 19 month old. She made dinner recommendations and then reservations for us as well. In the morning, the dining room was bustling with happy guests and she took time out to make our baby a scrambled egg. It’s small touches like this that made our stay memorable and charming and we’d like to make a visit here a new tradition in our family. Thank you Debbie and staff!

Cousins weekend away brought us to this lovely bed and breakfast. Perfect location for our afternoon trip to Niagra Falls and day trip to explore Rochester. Debbie, the host, was very welcoming and happy to answer our questions and offer suggestions of the local eateries. Both of our sleeping rooms, along with the rest of the inn, were clean, quiet and cozy. Breakfast was delich with homemade goodies and granola each day. This is a beautiful b&b with a terrific hostess and great location. You will love it here!
I wouldn’t stay anywhere else.
