A truly wonderful hospitality experience awaits you at the Genesee Country Inn Bed and Breakfast. We had the pleasure of staying there overnight on the New Years weekend. The suite we chose had a huge king bed and, in a lower room featuring windows that overlooked the spacious back yard and pond, a comfortable sofa and ottoman extra bed. The room featured eclectic and interesting decor, plus a selection of books. The common gathering room at the inn has an extensive collection of DVDs, and the breakfast room offered complimentary coffee/tea. The other admirable parts of the stay, aside from the spotlessly clean and well-appointed accommodations, included the wonderful breakfast fare, and the true hospitality extended to us by the owners. What a great experience start to finish. Recommended!

We have been going here for many years to get out town and relax and see different scenery. The rooms are very clean and quiet. Debra and her husband are super nice and she makes some of the best homemade breakfasts. I would recommend this place if you want a clean quiet place to unwind.

My husband and I stayed for a single night, but I wish we’d stayed longer. Debbie greeted us at the door and guided us through the common areas and then on to our rooms. I’ve never experienced this level of hospitality, thoughtfulness and service that she provided us. She made homemade cookies upon our arrival, she specifically chose a room for us that had a bathtub because she knew we were bringing along our 19 month old. She made dinner recommendations and then reservations for us as well. In the morning, the dining room was bustling with happy guests and she took time out to make our baby a scrambled egg. It’s small touches like this that made our stay memorable and charming and we’d like to make a visit here a new tradition in our family. Thank you Debbie and staff!

Cousins weekend away brought us to this lovely bed and breakfast. Perfect location for our afternoon trip to Niagra Falls and day trip to explore Rochester. Debbie, the host, was very welcoming and happy to answer our questions and offer suggestions of the local eateries. Both of our sleeping rooms, along with the rest of the inn, were clean, quiet and cozy. Breakfast was delich with homemade goodies and granola each day. This is a beautiful b&b with a terrific hostess and great location. You will love it here!

I was looking for a close place to stay when I came for a girls’ weekend. It was the first time our convention was held in a hall and not a hotel conference room.
The Geneseo B&B was recommended by AAA, and it could not have been a better place. Deb was a charming hostess and everything was perfect. She answered any questions I had and was very accommodating. The breakfast is amazing.

If you are looking for a comfortable, quiet, and peaceful place to stay, The Genesee Country Inn is exactly that. It's clear that Deborah has put her heart, soul, and endless effort into making this place not just an accommodation, but really a "home away from home." My wife put it best when she said, "It reminds me of staying with one of my aunts."
We have stayed a couple of times now and loved each time. The rooms are affordable, compared to hotels in the area, but the area is super quiet. I slept like a log, and that is not an easy task.
Breakfast is nothing short of spectacular! Deborah is a super hospitable host, will usually accommodate the "late-ish sleeper" and checks if there are any diet restrictions.
The grounds, which I think Richard is the gardener, are beautiful. You can walk around and take it all in. Walking creekside is always my favorite. We have yet to visit in the winter but I can only imagine what the grounds look like covered in good ol' WNY snow.
All in all, if you want a great place to stay at great value, give these folks a call You WON'T be disappointed.

So much more than a place to sleep. I am so glad that I gave this bed & breakfast a try. I was traveling last minute and the hotel prices were all at least $200 in the region when I saw this listing on Google maps. The room was very clean, comfortable, and fresh. The bathroom was upgraded, if you ever stayed in a historic home before, you know this makes a big difference. The welcome was friendly. The property made me want to stay for a week, with great outdoor seating, views of nature, and cool historic context. And breakfast, holy cow. Delicious!

if i could give the genesee country inn bed and breakfast 6 stars out of 5, i would give it a 7. Deb and Richard are incredible hosts. They went above and beyond to accommodate us and help us out in a last minute time of need and we will never forget their kindness and generosity. The inn and surrounding grounds are beautiful and full of history. the breakfast really can't be beat as others have said. Everything was freshly made and delicious doesnt even begin to describe it. the room was very cozy, with a comfortable bed with very nice sheets and pillows. if you find yourself in the area do yourself a favor and stay here

The BEST little BnB - where the warmth, hospitality and food is second to none!! What a gem- gorgeous rooms, house & grounds and thought put into every tiny detail. But of course the standout is breakfast - everything homemade, super filling & delicious!!! We will definitely be back
