It is thanks to the establishment of the faience manufacturers of Sarreguemines in 1874, shortly after the German annexation of the Moselle, that the city knew its industrial turn. In twenty years, the city saw its population double, with many Lorraine families in exile. Housed in an 18th century building, this museum perpetuates the reputation of the arts of the table, with many pieces from the heritage created in the 18th century by the Digoin ceramic factories.
