DOMAINE LUQUET DEPUIS 1878
Founded in 1878, it offers a wide selection of wines, including the Saint-Véran appellation. The Saint-Véran "Vieilles Vignes" comes from a plot planted in 1983, located at altitude in the commune of Chasselas. This wine is vinified in oak barrels, giving it aromas of vanilla, hazelnuts and toasted almonds. It can be kept for around 5 years, and goes perfectly with fish, shellfish, white meats and poultry in cream sauce. Domaine Luquet also offers Saint-Véran "Cuvée Tradition", made from 30-40 year-old vines. This wine, vinified in stainless steel vats, goes well with oysters, fish, shellfish and cheeses. The estate also offers other appellations, such as "La Grande Bruyère" and "Cuvée Vers les Monts".
