CHÂTEAU D'ALONE-TOULONGEON
Once famous, there are only the remains of the castle that housed Roger de Rabutin, Count of Bussy. Originally called Alone before taking its current name, Toulongeon, it belonged to one of the most powerful families of the region in the 12th century. In 1610, the seigneury was acquired by Antoine de Toulongeon who married Françoise de Rabutin-Chantal and had four children, including a daughter who married... Roger de Bussy-Rabutin, cousin of Madame de Sévigné. Consequently, illustrious visitors stayed at the castle. During the Revolution, the castle was looted and destroyed.
