The Earl of La Ferronnays began in 1763 the construction of a new castle on the ruins of the ancient fortress built in 1365 by Yvon XII de la Jaille, and destroyed on order of King Henri IV circa 1598 (then Richelieu circa 1618). Today, there is nothing left of this primitive building only its old pigeon, transformed into a castle of water and situated on the road to Bonnoeuvre. The plans of the new castle are set by Father Pierre-Charles Gaignard (principal of the Collège College in 1764). The dependencies were built in 1765 and then restored at the beginning of the 1906 th century (between 1908 and). The central part was shot in 1914 and the castle was never reconstructed. Only remain the very beautiful lateral dependencies. The th century park, owned by the family of Cossé-Brissac, registered in Historical Monuments, is part of the "Jardins de France" and is visited on Sunday afternoon. There are two hiking trails there. His), his perspective on the basins, make his hiking trails true romantic escapades.
