On the charming church square in Vilars, the yellow façade of the Auberge des gourmets doesn't go unnoticed. So much the better, because this address, awarded a Bib gourmand in 2024, is well worth the detour. The dining room and decor are classic, with the exception of part of the floor, glazed to reveal a pretty cellar. In the kitchen, chef Guillaume Laublanc, who took over the restaurant in 2020, changes his menu every three months. Right from the amuse-bouche, the charm is there, thanks to fine produce and perfect technical mastery. The price of success is that the wait can be long.
