Located in a former Relais de Poste, this Logis de France is characterized by its typical Burgundian Bresse architecture. The Hostellerie du Cheval Rouge is well located on the edge of the 157 arches that form the main street of Louhans and a few steps from the Tourist Office. It is in this lovely hotel, 2 star, 2 chimneys at the Logis De France and bearing the Qualité Tourisme label, with rustic setting that has embraced modernity, that Marie-Claire and Pierre Aubry welcome you. On the Hotel side, there are fourteen comfortable rooms with simple and brilliant colors. As for the restaurant: The great hall has a country-style aspect, ideal for family or groups meals, while a more contemporary terrace welcomes you in summer. The clucking of the unavoidable Bresse poultry adds charm and authenticity to the place. As for the cuisine, we appreciate the gourmet menus and local specialties that combine the necessary frogs' legs, snails, poultry terrines or fish, pike and carp and of course, the unmissable Bresse chicken. The wine list focuses on wines from Burgundy and Jura.
