This restaurant is an institution in Mâcon, and its Michelin star, acquired in 1997, has never left it. There's no doubt that the high standards set by the chef, Christian Gaulin, who is passionate about his profession and the quality of his products, have a lot to do with it. The menu changes with the seasons, combining authenticity and inventiveness. Regional products are given pride of place, and the chef doesn't hesitate to travel the length and breadth of France to enhance his menus. A wine list, presented by Isabelle, honors regional vintages. A fine address for all gourmets.

Volaille servie rose (pas cuite en gros), aucune question du personnel sur ce que nous avons ressenti. Assiette de fromage sans grand intérêt pour la région. (Comté sois disant 18 mois qui en faisait 6 au goût, un bout de Bresse bleu)
En bref c'était un bon repas, mais ça ne mérite pas une étoile, ni le prix.
A revoir on sens qu'il y a de l'envie.
Un classique étoilé Mâconnais à tester.
