Bicentennial house with terrace making frog legs, grilled meats, fish and poultry.

In this two hundred year old house, one comes to eat on the banks of the Saône in a fabulous setting. Around a cuisine inspired by the "bouchon lyonnais", frogs' legs and calf sweetbreads are served alongside grilled meats, not forgetting the sole meunière and its basmati rice. The Lamartine salad with its poultry livers and poached egg and the small dry goat cheese were our favorites. Beautiful proposals of wines on the menu. A terrace allows you to enjoy the view on the Saône from the Lamartine quay. The plus of this establishment is its opening 7 days a week.

J’aime y manger, pour la cuisine, le cadre sympa. Mais ce dimanche midi un service pas à la hauteur. Aucune prise en compte des réclamations clients, faute rejetée sur la cuisine. Étions 6, avons été servi en 3 services décalés ????. Je reste sur une image de « non professionnel » Décevant.

Restaurant peu accueillant. Serveurs sans empathie. Nous y sommes allés 20 minutes avant l'ouverture le soir mais ils n'ont pas voulu nous laisser entrer alors qu'il pleuvait à verse et nous sommes restés à la porte, mouillés par la pluie. Nous sommes repartis déçus. Je ne le recommanderais pas. Je vais écrire à l'office du tourisme de Mâcon pour expliquer mon expérience et leur demander de le retirer de leurs brochures.
