Since 2020, during the summer months, the town of Mâcon and its tourist office have taken up the challenge of transforming the banks of the Saône into a water sports center. On the vast esplanade Lamartine, the Mâcon sur l'Ô operation offers rentals of pedalos, paddles and other watercraft. For the less sporty, a touring boat is available to tame the Saône. Rosalies, pedal go-karts and bicycles can also be rented for strolling along the banks. You're all set for a busy day discovering the city in a whole new way!
