Literally "The Cave of Princess Hill", this is an important Balinese pilgrimage site dedicated to Shiva, goddess of creation through destruction. The temple is accessible if you wear a sarong, which you can rent at the roadside. After a purification ceremony, explore this 15-metre-high grotto, stretching for several hundred metres before reaching a ledge overlooking a meadow. After a hundred or so steps and passing through a narrow corridor, discover numerous places of worship in this unique setting.
