THE RICHARD HAYNES BOARDWALK
This coastal path was initially created to combat beach erosion and stabilize the beach to preserve the settlements along it. The beach surfaces created after its construction have even become a nesting ground for sea turtles. This mini-dike has become a very popular place for walking and relaxing. The starting point is at the beginning of Rockley beach and ends 1.2 km further on in Hastings, opposite the Soco Hotel. Ideal for strolling at sunset, meditating to the sound of the waves and mingling with the Bajans.
