Located on the road that leads to Louhans, on the small town of Rancy, La Taverne Bressane is beautiful and large house with two rooms and a bar, a lovely terrace, and can accommodate a hundred guests. Outside, the decor recalls the Haute-Savoie, its native department of the two owners, Jacques and Marie-Françoise. Inside, traditional furniture, decor including chickens and casseroles is reminiscent of Bresse. By the way, the house offers both traditional Bresse menus and Savoyard specialties. In summer as in winter, you can enjoy tartiflette, fondue, small breaded Reblochon or flambéed scabbard fish with first quality beef skewers, Dauphin gratin and salad. The house also serves frogs with cream, Bresse poultry and favours combination of salad during the summer. As for the desserts, La Taverne Bressane offers crème brûlée, rum baba and molten chocolate cake. The restaurant is also a privileged address with the guest houses who like to accommodate its customers into them. The restaurant opens its terrace in summer and welcomes groups for private events such as weddings and birthday parties.
