Just a stone's throw from Tournus, the La Truchère-Ratenelle nature reserve is a surprising corner of nature. In a relatively small area, you'll discover lichen-covered sand dunes, a peat bog, a pond and a marsh. Two well-developed footpaths allow you to wander through these preserved environments without damaging them. A major botanical and entomological site, the reserve is also a prime location for birdwatching, both migratory and otherwise.
