The Musée Départemental du Compagnonnage is the legacy of Pierre-François Guillon, a journeyman carpenter who founded the École de trait. Discover a Unesco-listed intangible heritage - carpentry and companionship - with masterpieces, carvings and models, documents on the life of a companion and the history of the school, and temporary exhibitions. Children's and teenagers' tours and workshops during school vacations, ideal for families.

Closed from December 15th to January 1st. Closed May 1. Low season: open daily from 2pm to 6pm. High season: daily from 10am to 6pm. High season from June to end September. Low season for groups, mornings by appointment. Free admission for children under 18 (1st Sunday of the month). Adults: €4. Groups (10 people): €3. Free for students. Free admission for all on the first Sunday of the month. Audioguide. Game booklet for children. Gift store. Animations. Children's trail for ages 3 to 8.

Temporary exhibition: The construction site of a comic strip.

This year, the museum has invited the cartoonist and author Jérôme Jouvray to create an original tour that explores the backstage of the creation of a comic strip: from the birth of an idea to the composition of the characters and the story to the drawing and coloring. Conceived as a comic strip that unfolds on the walls of the museum's exhibition rooms, the visitor is accompanied throughout the tour by 4 characters who interact. Sketched with humor, these heroes reveal their work and the world of their profession. Original plates, sketchbooks and ideas, tools ... are also presented. A bookshop and a reading corner complete the exhibition.
