CAVEAU DE SAINT-AMOUR
The Caveau de Saint-Amour-Bellevue accommodates you in his lovely vaulted cellar and will make you discover the joys of the local wines. The territory producing the Saint-amour stretches over 320 ha and produces one of the rarest Beaujolais vintages. From the granitic sub-soil, made up of clay and silica, the floor of the surrounding vineyards is only suitable for the white-juice black gamay, which are almost Beaujolais ones. Evoking the fruit and the flower, the Saint-amour displays a velvet and crimson red colour with a brightness of ruby, and a delicate red fruit flavour raised of a floral touch of peony. Balanced, with the delicate roundness, it will be matured after 2 or 3 years. The cellar offers a nice anthology of the local wines, choice supplemented by a selection of the neighbouring territories' wines. You can also taste the white Beaujolais produced in the commune there. And apart from the bottles, the vault also offers you gift ideas, drinks, aprons, tee-shirts, posters or postcards!
