This area exploits 6,50 ha in saint-amour, chénas (élevage in oak barrels), juliénas (in old vines). It also produces white and rosé Beaujolais, white burgundy (high in drums) and crémant-de-bourgogne. The domain is the owner of the label «Special cellars», which guarantees «respect for local and local traditions». The vinification is traditional, with the semi-carbonic fermentation, typical of Beaujolais, which gives their fruity vivid wine. La Novelist's wines can be found on about fifteen lounges each year. The castle itself dates from the beginning of the 1830 th century and was enlarged in by Alexandre de La Balmondière, who was involved in the development of the vineyard. The reception is excellent.
