The Chaumont estate, owned by the same family since the 14th century, comprises a vast château and gigantic stables dating from the 17th century. At the entrance to a superb English-style park, these are the ones you'll visit. The building is enormous for its function, with a façade featuring monumental staircases. Sculptures and attention to detail make it an original witness to the past, with an Italian flair. This historic monument is regularly used as a film location.

Exposition/conférence "remue manège" . Site avec très belle vue. L'expo avait pour objet le cheval et les métiers autour de l'animal. L'histoire du château nous a été comté par une guide, qui a fait un lien historique avec les écuries. Site bien ombragé, à proximité d'une forêt et la présence d'une buvette qui nous a permis de tenir aisément avec la chaleur estival de 34°. Je donne 4/5, 1 étoile en moins parce qu'une fontaine à eau aurait été "le must". Expo intéressante, à refaire l'année prochaine.
