In the land of Bresse, chicken is king and the couple Valérie and Marc Fernoux raise it on their farm in Saint-Didier-en-Bresse. Here feathered animals roam outside, eat grain and live in community. Chickens, AOC poulard, guinea fowl, turkeys, all this menagerie lives happily and that counts for the quality of the meat. It is possible to shop directly at the farm, provided you make an appointment. Because if the producers are not on the farm, they can also be present at local markets, on Wednesday mornings in Saint-Martin-en-Bresse, Saturday mornings in Saint-Marcel and the first Tuesday of each month in Saint-Gengoux-le-National.
