AU PUITS ENCHANTÉ
Address with terrace in Saint-Martin-en-Bresse elaborating a careful, greedy and home-made local cuisine.
Before taking over the Puits Enchanté in his native region, Mathieu Lecuelle worked as a chef for a number of Burgundy Michelin-starred restaurants. His menu is simple and regularly changing, gourmet to perfection and marked by the terroir, with, for example, entrecôte charolaise, frog legs, Bresse chicken or snail cassolette. As for wines, the selection logically gives pride of place to Côte-d'Or and Saône-et-Loire crus. The terrace is in the peaceful rear courtyard, while the two large rooms can accommodate groups.
