Renaissance castle in Southern Burgundy, nicknamed the Fontainebleau of Burgundy, surrounded by park with chapel and garden.
Château de Sully is a Renaissance architectural gem, nicknamed the "Fontainebleau of Burgundy". Since 1750, it has been the residence of the Mac-Mahon family. It sits in a park with a vegetable garden classified as a "remarkable garden". At Christmas, Halloween and Easter, themed tours for children, expertly conducted by a comedian, are also a popular feature. You can also picnic and meet the farmyard animals. Part of the site can also be used for private events.

After searching the Internet, the obvious answer was le Château de Sully!
Diner for adult only, buffet with regional drinks, a lot of other crazy people to share a unique scary night at the magnificent Chateau de Sully, everything was pulled together to spend a spooky night!
We had a great time with a mix of walking in the dark scary moments, listening to our golden mask host for this terrific night and sharing the diner with other lost in the dark people.
We discovered more about the castle’s haunted history, all under a cloudy moon, giving to the site a unique perspective and feeling.
Thanks again to Thomas and the great Sully’s team for giving us a chance to celebrate Halloween in good company and making le Château de Sully a very special place to visit during this time of the year.
And of course, looking forward to coming back for Christmas!
See you soon!
