HÔTEL LE SAUVAGE * * *
With its red lights and imposing building, the hotel-restaurant Le Sauvage can be seen from afar, overlooking the Place du Champ de Mars in the city centre, so it is easy to park and approach it. Built in a former post house dating from the 18th century, recent works have modernised the place with a beautiful modern wooden terrace and a beautiful ramp for people with reduced mobility. On sunny afternoons, many people come to have a coffee or a beer on the terrace. Inside, the establishment displays a more classical decoration, a little bourgeois but of high standing and resolutely elegant. In this three-star hotel, there are around thirty comfortable and simple rooms with modern equipment which allow to spend pleasant nights. The rooms can accommodate from one to five people. Some have a view of the Saint-Philibert Abbey, others have a lounge area. If you want to eat something, no need to go far, Le Sauvage is also a restaurant which opens 7 days a week that offers a regional cuisine in a traditional setting. The value for money is excellent. A three star hotel that everyone can afford.
