Largely refurbished, the 44 rooms at Le Rempart, a Tournuge institution just a stone's throw from the quays of the Saône, boast hushed comfort, a blend of tradition and modernity. From the traditional room to the 50m2 suite for four, the choice is vast. For even greater comfort, visit the spa at the Hôtel des 7 Fontaines (same owner). Were very well taken care of by receptin staff, as the room we had booked wasn't available and they upgraded us to meet the booking without too much delay or fuss - good job.
Hotel is right on the main road so 2 times double glazed windows were welcome.
Very close to the Abbaye (top site) and the main streey commercial area.
Restaurant was good - but understaffed and not quite up to the Gault Millau rating
