CARNIVAL ROCKS
A series of granite chaotic rocks that offer a breathtaking view of the Morvan and the Puy de Dôme at Uchon.
For lovers of nature walks, scenic vistas and Gallic culture, the Rochers du Carnaval (Carnival Rocks) are a local curiosity. At an altitude of almost 700 metres, they are a collection of granite chaotic formations bearing the sweet names of Mammouth, Devil's Claw and Dog's Nose, and offering unbeatable views of the Morvan and even the Puy de Dôme. Don't forget your binoculars. In keeping with Gallic culture, the names of these rocks are accompanied by legends, which can be discovered freely or during guided tours organized on request.
