MUSÉE DE LA FAIENCERIE
Museum of earthenware presenting the manufacturing techniques and a collection of products made in the and centuries.
Ten minutes' walk from the castle, the earthenware museum presents the results of eleven years of archaeological excavations on the site of an old earthenware factory that operated from 1763 to 1807. Installed in former vaulted cellars where the earth was matured before the manufacture of earthenware, the visitor discovers in a playful way the manufacturing techniques and a collection of products made in the 18th and 19th centuries. Similarly, the museum also offers temporary exhibitions in the gallery featuring local artists.
