Nordic walking, strolling, jogging, cycling, scootering: anything is possible on the Voie verte d'Auxerre! Only rollerbladers won't be able to enjoy the ride, as the site is not paved with concrete... Nine kilometers of greenery (and eventually almost 15 km, as the site is still under construction) cross Auxerre on the old railway line. Far from the noise and dangers of the city, this gravel path joins the quays of the Yonne, where you can continue your stroll along the Canal du Nivernais for several hundred kilometers more. And if you don't like going back the same way, you can complete your itinerary by taking the loop entitled Entre corridor écologique et avenues, the brochure for which is available from the town's tourist office.
