EGLISE SAINT-PIERRE
Church with statues of St. Vincent and St. Cartaud, patrons of the main guilds of the district.
This church was built in a former monastery complex, in the old quarter of the winegrowers who financed it. Its originality? Its Gothic architecture associated with its 16th century tower and its classical 17th century facade. Inside, one can see the statues of Saint Vincent and Saint Cartaud, patron saints of the main corporations of the district: the wine growers and the butchers. Opposite the church, opening onto Via Joubert, the entrance portal of the ancient abbey was built around 1540, strongly inspired by the Castelnuevo portal of Naples.
