This square, inaugurated in 2018, pays tribute to Christian Jambert (1940-1997) and the missing women of Yonne, victims between 1975 and 1979 of the serial killer Emile Louis (1934-2013) who was then active in the region. Constable Jambert was the first to unmask the assassin, even though Emile Louis did not confess to the facts until 2000. The square houses a slab in memory of the gendarme and a statue representing the 7 missing persons, erected in 2005 by the victims' families.
