PARC DE L'ARBRE SEC
A remarkable park with various species on the banks of the Nivernais canal, playgrounds on site, to visit in Auxerre.
Bordering the Canal du Nivernais, which joins the Yonne, lies the city's green lung. Since its creation in the 19th century, L'Arbre Sec has been an Auxerre institution. This large riverside park is home to 226 trees of 33 species, play areas and shady spots that are appreciated in summer. Crossing the park, you'll reach the nautical stadium and the Abbé Deschamps stadium. Activities are organized here all year round. Finally, at the entrance to the park, you can join the "coulée verte" (green corridor), which runs almost all the way round the town.
