Art gallery in Auxerre's old historic center, offering exhibitions with guest artists.

In Auxerre's historic old town, at the foot of the staircase leading to the beautiful Place Saint-Nicolas and the banks of the Yonne, you'll find the aptly named L'Escalier. L'Escalier is not only an art gallery, but also the brainchild of two artists: visual photographer Patrick Rimond and Polish-born printmaker Jolanta Anton. Open to the public since 2021, exhibitions are regularly organized with guest artists. L'Escalier also regularly interacts with other regional art venues through events and workshops.
