Les Cordois Autrement is THE gourmet bistro in the heart of Avallon, nestled against the 12th-century church in old Avallon. We love the contemporary blue-and-yellow decor and the cosy feel of the place. The service is pleasant and the dishes entirely homemade. On our visit, we particularly appreciated the Morvan ham from Fernand Dusset d'Arleuf, then the old-fashioned veal blanquette, before finishing with a very Burgundian poached pear with blackcurrants. The terrace is particularly pleasant in fine weather.
