In the old Avallon, just a step away from the famous frog leaning against a 12th century church, Les Cordois Autrement is THE gastronomic bistro in the heart of Avallon. We like the design and very current decoration, tinted of blue and yellow, and the cosy spirit of the place. The service is pleasant and the dishes are entirely home-made. At our visit, we particularly appreciated the snails of Bassou coming from the House Billot, then the fillet of beef with Epoisses sauce. As for the terrace, it is particularly pleasant in the beautiful days.
