At the corner of Place Vauban and Grande rue Aristide Briand, "Les Maréchaux" is one of those establishments that enliven the old Avallon. A nice atmosphere of brasserie, with a warm welcome, a menu with regional accents highlighting some specialties such as the Burger des Maréchaux with creamy Epoisses cheese, or the inevitable Burgundy snails and other Chablis-style ham. Of course, the great classics are there too: salads, grills and snacks. In short, a nice place, notably thanks to its large terrace and its karaoke evenings.
