A spotlight on fashion over time, staged in a reconstructed atmosphere. A hundred costumes and a thousand accessories are presented here. Each year, a collection is put forward, allowing visitors to vary the pleasures. Sewing is an art that has crossed the centuries, and that can be found in the twelve beautiful rooms of this beautiful 17th and 18th century mansion, former property of the Condé family. Dit is een zeer bijzonder museum. Voor 5 euro pp zie je kleding vanag 1700 tot 1960. Maar vooral ontstellend veel oude spullen. Komt dat zien!! Ps. Rondleiding met uitleg.

Épatant de beauté et d'histoire, le musée du costume est présenté et détaillé par deux sœurs passionnées. A la recherche de costumes depuis 68 ans, mais aussi d'accessoires, de meubles et de tableaux, l'une d'entre elles nous a embarqués avec humour dans un voyage temporel mémorable du XVIIIème à la moitié du XXème siècle sur le thème "Le velours et la mode".
