OUR LADY OF THE ASSUMPTION
It was on the presumed location of an ancient temple dedicated to Diane that the primitive church of the century was held. The present building has several eras, from the th century to the oldest parts (steeple and nave), in the early th century for the vaults of the choir and the old chapel. From the top of its 42 m, the bell bell has two bells: the largest, weighing 650 kg, bears the following inscription "I am Mary, I have as godfather Mr SALMON of BIRON, mayor of Vaux on Lunain and for godmother Ms BARDOT", with the smallest, displaying 475 kg, she bears the following inscription "I am Jeanne, I have as godmother Ms. E. BARDOT, daughter of the mayor of Chéroy and as a godfather Jean Baptiste SALMON of BIRON son of the mayor of Vaux on Lunain. Note that a stone tower hovers the bell, probably sagissant the inhabitants in the event of threats.
