On the road to Avallon, Accolay hides within its walls a precious restaurant led by chef Alain Pohu for over 20 years. Gastronomic and refined, the restaurant's cuisine, with its accents of the terroir, is punctuated with a light touch of creativity - à la carte, we offer sautéed prawns, julienne of vegetables, exotic coulis - Fricassee of scallops with cream sauce - Roasted scallops - Veal kidney chestnuts with mustard cream - Beef steak with Époisses or bourguignonne sauce - Market-fresh produce takes pride of place, deftly handled by a passionate maestro. Our favorite is the dining room, a former 17th-century cellar that retains all the charm of Burgundy's white stone. The garden and shaded terrace also hide their own little treasure...
