This keep flanked by an octagonal turret rises on four levels.
Very beautiful heritage relating the medieval past of Cravant, the keep was built in the 14th century and is intended to be the centerpiece of the ancient fortifications of the city. Over the centuries, it will have several destinies, serving as a prison, but also as a watchtower and then as a seigneurial house. Flanked by an octagonal turret, the keep rises on four levels. Today a private residence, the owner opens her house during the Heritage Days or by appointment: it is then possible to visit the basement and the gothic room. In the summer, the keep hosts exhibitions which keeps the site open to visitors.
