CHÂTEAU DE DRUYES-LES-BELLES-FONTAINES
This XIIth century castle is located at the top of a rocky peak.
At the top of a rocky outcrop, this 12th century castle once belonged to the Counts of Auxerre and Nevers. It can be seen from the village, overlooking the magnificent lagoon-coloured reservoir. But to discover the medieval aspect of this very pretty village you will also have to climb a path which offers the opportunity to enjoy a beautiful panorama of the valley. An association is in charge of reviving the site, and proposes visits of the fortress as well as the village.
