Just outside Auxerre, the Gallo-Roman site of Escolives is an archaeological nugget in the heart of the vineyards. Situated on the ancient Roman road of Agrippa, its origins lie near the Creusot spring, which has attracted mankind since Neolithic times. Period after period has followed, as evidenced by the ruins of a Gallo-Roman villa and thermal baths, and a Merovingian cemetery. A fascinating visit for the whole family, in an absolutely magnificent setting.

Activité familliale parfaite
C'est une activité parfaite à faire en famille et c'est une excellente introduction à l'histoire des anciennes civilisations. Il y a beaucoup de trouvailles à voir et des petits ateliers à faire avec les plus jeunes. Je recommande vivement !
