The only vestige of the old village of Aisy-lès-Avallon, this church was almost demolished in 1869 because it was too far from the heart of the village. Finally partly rebuilt in 1705, it still has its 12th century façade. The place has a strange legend about a murder committed in the cemetery around 1778. The innkeeper, whose business was next door, was found guilty and guillotined in Avallon eight years later.
