The Girolles caves, located deep in the forest, the largest of which was first explored in 1908.
The big underground, the small underground and the rock with ivy. The territory of Girolles shelters several caves in the middle of the forest. The biggest one was explored for the first time in 1908 over 50 meters and consists of two superimposed conduits and a well. The small one, which can be explored on the stomach, has yielded primitive pottery from the Bronze Age but also Roman pottery as well as the rock with ivy. During the Second World War and the Resistance, maquisards hid in the cave.
