CHATEAU D'ARCHAMBAULT

Whether you are looking for a place to celebrate an event, party or simply relax, the Château d'Archambault, its facilities and park can meet your needs at any time of the year. The main building can comfortably accommodate about twenty people and the neighbouring gite can accommodate five more. The Château d'Archambault has already been the setting for several weddings, concerts, theatrical performances, exhibitions, birthdays and numerous parties.

The Château d'Archambault is located in Burgundy in the small hamlet of Cours, on the river Serein, some 800 metres from the medieval village of Noyers-sur-Serein. It was originally built around 1800 as a hunting lodge on the site of an old fortified farmhouse before being extended in the mid-19th century by a certain Mr. Masson, a cook of Napoleon III. The Château d'Archambault has been completely renovated recently and is tastefully furnished and decorated with taste and originality. The ground floor is vast and bright. In addition to a kitchen and an office, it houses four large reception rooms between which circulation is easy. The upper floors offer 10 bedrooms, almost all with their own bathroom or shower room, a media/library and a laundry room. Outside there is a barn, a 16 metre long wine storehouse, an orangery, a dovecote and a gite in the former caretaker's house.

The 3.4 hectares of parkland offer the visitor peace and tranquillity with its stone walls, landscaped gardens, flora, friendly spaces and modern sculptures.

Rouge Passion, Lagon or Terre de Soleil are the names of some of the rooms that will make you spend beautiful nights at the Château d'Archambault. In this little corner of paradise, wood dominates: parquet flooring, stairs, grand piano and small French painted furniture full of charm. It is fresh, pretty and colourful.
