Church located in La Ferté-Loupière, famous for its frescoes of the end of the XVth century discovered in 1910.
This 12th and 15th century church is famous for its late 15th century frescoes discovered in 1910. The subject (extremely rare, since there are only six works of this nature in France) features 42 characters. A macabre dance in which musical skeletons lead the pope, emperor, king, nobles, bourgeois, peasants and babies in a farandole. A remarkable social and religious testimony of the time, this fresco is renowned throughout the world.
