WASHERWOMAN PARK
A park featuring a variety of trees and interesting birdlife, a great place to take a stroll at the entrance to Maillot.
Nestling at the entrance to Maillot (in the close southern suburbs of Sens), this 1.3 hectare park, separated in two by a stream, is made up of a diversified and irregular woodland. Conifers, stem trees, alders, alders, ashes, maples and bald cypresses can be found here. Nesting boxes have been installed for the protection of birds. An old restored wash-house is also a delight for passers-by and lovers of history. A beautiful shaded picnic area has also been set up. In short, a beautiful destination for a walk in the green.
